From this, the data will now be transmitted on the transmission line (wire) serially, bit by bit, to the receiving UART. This, in turn, will convert the serial data into parallel for the receiving device. WebTransmission of Data: • It can be defined as the movement of data from one device to another in the form of bits. • To transfer data, some form of medium is required e.g. fiber optics, etc. • Data can be transferred over a short distance i.e. from computer to printer or over long distance i.e. overseas call via phones.
