WebJan 22, 2024 · On Saturday I did a Facetime demonstration with a university art student on the East Coast, part of the Society of Inclusive Blacksmiths Mentor program. They have a lot of casting and foundry experience but very little smithing, so we walked thru a basic leaf keychain. Nothing like teaching to show you why you do certain things. WebAnd thanks as well to the Society for Inclusive Blacksmiths for providing important support for the class. The school’s core classes were well-attended and very successful. We finally got Lee Sauder to join us here for an iron smelting class.
