WebReaders Cup is organised by the Qld Branch of the Children’s Book Council of Australia. It is a state wide competition for young readers. Teams of four students together read a set of books, and then compete with other school or public library teams to answer quiz questions from the books.

WebReaders Cup is organised by the Qld Branch of the Children's Book Council of Australia. It is a state wide competition for young readers. Teams of four to five students together read a set of books, and then compete with other teams to answer quiz questions from the books. Winners from regional competitions then compete in a state final. Webto hear authors read out their work. I would also like to thank the Queensland Writers Centre for their partnership and collegiality. Our premier show case program remains the Qld -wide Readers Cup competition. With 779 teams registering in 2024 it appears as if the competition will continue to grow. Year 9/10

We enjoyed getting lost in each page and thoroughly enjoyed the opportunity to read different books from various genres, working together as a team and, of course, having a lot of fun coming up with potential trivia questions about each book!
