Webb16 nov. 2008 · Table Top Hot Wire Foam Cutter. As promised here is my build guide on how I made my simple hot wire foam cutter. This foam cutter is not designed for angle cuts. Since I included a lot of pictures and junk, I made a PDF file to make things easy, enjoy and please leave feedback. WebbKohree Hot Wire Foam Cutter. Webb18 dec. 2012 · Place the foam on the table surface and gently slide it into the hot wire — it should cut easily with just the slightest pressure. Adjust the voltage if needed. Don’t press too hard, or you’ll pull the wire into an arc and your cuts will be curved instead of straight. Use that last connection to the rod as your on/off switch. I used a 12V DC wall wart, safe and easy. 4.
